If you get some decently well rims that aren't made of granite you should be fine. If you want to save some weight stay with 17s. Really ask yourself why you are upgrading your wheels? Then decide from there you have plenty of power. If I where I would look at putting some 255/40R17 in front and 275/40R18 in the rear. Thus is a 17x9 in front and 17x10 in rear. Good wheels to look at are Fiske, HRE, Racing Hart, SSR, Volks, and 5Ziegen. Else you can get some Blitz Type 03s and make me jealous :-)
